Description:
Request for proposals are invited for Refurbishment of Fuel Tanks, Purification of Contaminated Fuel - Marsh Harbour Power Station (MHPS) & Wilson City Power Station (WCPS). The following stages describes in general, but does not limit the scope of the Service which the Contractor shall be required to perform: (A) Purify, filter, flush, clean, treat and polish (removal of water, sludge, algae and other foreign particles) approximately: 150,000 gallons of diesel fuel at the MHPS Fuels must be lab tested and results acceptable after polishing (B) Clean (and coat) inner walls as per API 653 standards for four (4) above ground storage tanks (AST): 1 x 1,000,000 gallon storage tanks at WCPS (1T016) 2 x 190,000 gallon storage tanks at MHPS (Tank 1 & Tank 2) 1 x 150,000 gallon storage tank at MHPS (Tank 3) (C) Repair leak on one (1) 150,000 gallon tank (Tank #3) at the base at the MHPS.
